COURSE OVERVIEW

This intensive five days course is designed to provide participants with a thorough knowledge of well integrity management and risk assessment in producing assets. Based on the regulatory requirements and using real examples and exercises from around the world, this represents best practice integrity management within the oil and gas industry. When to take action with a well is a critical decision, both from a safety and economic perspective. A consistent approach to decision-making provides certainty within the organization, focusing effort, and spending wisely.

o Internal Corrosion and Subsequent Integrity Failure Barrier Understanding
o Monitor for and Understand Mechanical Integrity Problems Preventing Potential Production Rates.

Day 3

o Consequences of Loss of Integrity of one Well to its Surrounding Wells and Potential Financial Exposure.
o Increasing Amount of Underground Blowouts
o Abandonment

Day 4

o Well Integrity and Barrier Philosophy
o Well Failure Model
o Risk Based Well Integrity Management and Testing
o The management of Barrier testing.
o Active Management Model.

Day 5

o Optimize Well Completion to Optimize Well
Integrity during the Lifespan of the Wells, Based on Life Time and Possible Intervention Frequencies
