Participants will acquire both theoretical concepts and hands-on practical with applications and case studies on logging techniques in oil reservoir. This course addresses a wide variety of issues and how better decisions can be made through the lens of formation evaluation.
The primary focus for the course is to provide the attendees with gained knowledge and experience related to the International public reporting of the mining project, mineral resource estimation, mineral reserves estimation and the responsibility of the Competent Person. The course will represent influence of the major factors, such as quality of the data, quality control system, environmental and social studies, metallurgical studies, drilling space etc. to the mineral resources category and an investment opportunities. Course will cover the most famous reporting systems – JORC and NI 43-101 as well as will provide an overview of other international formats accepted by stoke exchanges.

Yulia Cherepanova is a geologist and mining specialist with over 10 years of technical, scientific research and business development experience in leading international mining and oil/gas service and consulting companies. Having started out as a diamond exploration geologist (Russia), Yulia subsequently worked in seismic exploration in Schlumberger (Egypt) in its quality control department, and in academia where she was awarded a Ph.D. degree in geoscience (Denmark), and in a prominent mining consultancy (UK) providing international business development, project appraisals, quality control and technical due diligence to clients. Yulia defended the PhD and published the scientific articles on the crustal structure of the West Siberian basin and the Siberian craton. Yulia is knowledgeable about quality control, exploration, technical risks and pitfalls of complex mining projects.
The course is designed for the mining professionals reporting in the GKZ and other national systems, for
investment organizations and for management level.

The learning objective of the top-most level content of the course are:
o To understand the international mining project public reporting required for listing and investment organizations, different types of reports, major difference between reporting systems, benefits of public reporting, major requirements for each stage of the project from exploration to feasibility study
o To understand the modern requirements for environmental and social studies, environmental and social study time frame and stages, benefits for a company- potential investments opportunities.
o To study the internationally recommended QAQC programme, QAQC methods and implementations, statistical analyses of laboratory data; to learn the major problems of an analytical data and the influence of QAQC data for the mineral resource categories.
o To understand the transition from resources to reserves- modifying factors.
